- Extrusion system: where the filament is melted with a resistance at 200 degrees, and a very fine thread comes out, 2 components:motor and gear wheel that pushes the filament material, extruder system or feeder, extruder carriage: this is what melts the filament
- hotend: is the part responsible for melting the filament to be deposited in layers during the printing process.
- nozzle: Also known as the 3D printer nozzle, it is a component that is located in the Hot-end and through which the heated filament passes and is printed on the printing bed.
- extruder carriage: It is a piece that allows the movement of the printing system.
- bed or base: It is part of the structure of the same, it is a flat surface with an integrated resistance which is responsible for generating heat so that the pieces can adhere more easily. The printing surface is the surface on which the filament will be deposited.
- spindle: a very long screw, it is greased differently and another compound, it is very important, it is the smooth quality of the print, it also makes it go up and down
- clip: Holds the tube with the material, if not, the material comes out of the tube.
